Independent Contractor : for the Department of Mental Health and California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation at several facilities including: Corcoran State Prison, Deuel Vocational Institution in Tracy, San Quentin State Prison, Salinas Valley State Prison, California State Prison, Sacramento and the Salinas Valley Psychiatric Program. Various Assessment Reports including: Mentally Disordered Offender evaluations, Condemned Inmate Evaluations, Competency Evaluations and Board Of Prison Hearing Reports as well as Risk Assessment reports for inmates with violent and sexual offences. Also performed the assessment of newly arrived inmates and conducted individual and group psychotherapy with inmates with serious psychiatric disorders.

Private Practice in the San Francisco Bay Area: Individual and Group Psychotherapy, specializing in victims of violent crime, work-related stress and psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessment for children, adolescents and adults. Aug 1990 - Oct 1992 First Hospital Vallejo, CA: Mental Health Counselor: Responsibilities included; milieu management, group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, chemical dependency assessment and intake interviews with multi-ethnic chronic and acute adult psychiatric patients in a multidisciplinary treatment approach.
